Hyundai’s official distributor, Lakshmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd has launched the new Kona GL electric car. The company has said that the price of the Kona GL variant will be Rs 59 lakh 96 thousand. Hunddai Kona EV’s entry variant-GL is priced at Rs 59 lakh 96 thousand and GL-S variant is priced at Rs 64 lakh 96 thousand.
Keeping in view the growing demand for electric vehicles, the company has launched the GL version of its most successful electric model, Kona.

According to the company, the highly successful Kona Electric is a successful crossover EV in Nepal. The new electric Kona facelift has seen many changes. Driving range has also increased in the new Kona. New security features and advanced connectivity are the main modifications.
Hyundai Kona comes with modern safety features such as Smart Sense Safety Suite, Regenerative Braking, Paddle Shifter, Drive By Wire System and Climate Pre-setting.
Hyundai Kona has a 39.2 kWh lithium ion polymer battery with multi-stage high-voltage safety system, due to which it has high energy density and will increase the range. Vitry’s layout and packaging system has lowered the center of gravity and made Kona’s handling excellent. The company said that it provides a comfortable journey for the driver and passengers.
Hyundai Kona comes with a new design grille, daytime running lights and large size taillights. The Kona Electric can be driven up to 305 km on a single charge. The company said that the 100 kW DC fast charger will charge 80 percent of the battery in 54 minutes.
According to the company, the 8-inch touchscreen visual navigation system in Hyundai Kona will make the driving experience at a higher level. Kona Electric will be available in Nepali market in color options like Atlas White, Cyber Grey, Galactic Grey, Pulse Red, Surfy Blue and Dark Knight.
