Nada Auto Show : Consumers addicted to electric vehicles from 14 to 30 lakhs

Nada Auto Show which has been taking place at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu since Tuesday, has revealed consumers’ interest in affordably priced electric automobiles.

Customers are lining up to buy electric automobiles between the price ranges of 14 and 30 lakhs among the four-wheeled electric vehicles. The booking of electric vehicles under the Ceres brand for Rs 1.3 lakhs has significantly enhanced consumer interest in these vehicles at this year’s “Auto Show.” From the Auto Show, here are the entry-level vehicles, their costs, and their features:

Ceres car in 14 lakhs

The Ceres automobile has entered the Nepali market in an effort to appeal to people on a tight budget who want to drive a car. There are 4 variations of this car that MAW Vrdi Autocorp Pvt Ltd has introduced to the Nepali market. Three of them have starting prices ranging from 13 lakhs to 18 lakhs.

Ceres Mini EV

This four-seater vehicle’s price has been set at Rs 13 lakh 99 000 just at the NADA Auto Show. 180 kilometers can be covered by a single, fully charged trip of three and a half to four hours in a car with a battery warranty of six years or 120,000 kilometers.

Ceres Mid EV

Tata’s Tiago EV at 22 lakhs

Tata Motors debuted three vehicles in the passenger sector at the “Nada Auto Show” in Bhrikutimandap. The “Tiago EV,” the cheapest car made by Tata, is one of them.

It was unveiled by Sipradi Trading Pvt Ltd, the authorised distributor of Tata Motors. The Tiago EV with cruise control offers modern electronics, a contrast roof, fully automatic climate control, and projector auto headlights, among other amenities.

This vehicle has a welcoming interior and a stylish exterior. The starting pricing for this Tiago EV is fixed at Rs 21 lakh 99 lakh for a short time. Tiago EV MR (Medium Range) XT costs 22 lakh 99 thousand rupees, whereas Tiago EV Long costs 23 lakh 59 thousand rupees. Range (LR) XT is 25 lakh 49 thousand rupees. The price of Tiago EV LR X Z Plus is 26 lakh 99 thousand, while the price of Tiago EV LR X Z Plus Luxury is fixed at 27 lakh 99 thousand.

Wuling Air for 21 lakhs

At the Auto Show, two Wheeling Air EV vehicles made by PT SGMW Motors Indonesia were unveiled.

EV Nepal Motors and Bajr Group are selling a four-seater (double door) car in the Nepali market that is appropriate for small households. The business claims that the Wuling Air EV, which has a 17.3 kW battery, will Nada Auto Show in nepalhave a 200 km range after 4 hours of fast charging. This automobile costs just 20 lakh 99 thousand rupees.

The company claims that another vehicle with a battery capacity of 26.7 KW will have a 300 km range. With a fast charger, this automobile can also be fully charged in 4 hours. At the car exhibition, the price of this vehicle was set at 26 lakh 99 thousand rupees. 80 percent of the financing for the car has been given by Nabil Bank and Prabhu Bank.

The business claims that a monthly EMI of 17,970 can be used to purchase this vehicle. The company’s assistant manager Samir Rai stated that the vehicles’ batteries have an 8-year warranty. According to the firm, several of these vehicles were purchased and delivered at the Nada Auto Show.

MG Comet at 18 lakhs

At the Nada Auto Show, Paramount Motors Pvt Ltd unveiled two vehicles with starting prices of 18 lakh and 21 lakh. The previous model, the MG Comet EV, is merely 17 lakh 99 thousand rupees in price. With a 31.26 KW motor and a 17.3 KW battery, this vehicle can cover 230 km on a single charge.

A similar vehicle, the MG Comet EV Play, with a price tag of Rs 20 lakh 99 000. With a 31.26 KW motor and a 17.3 KW battery, this vehicle can cover 230 km on a single charge. A three-year or 100,000-mile warranty is offered on the MG Comet. The automobile battery has also been given a high voltage warranty for 8 years or 120,000 miles.
