These are the features of Nissan’s second-generation LEAF displayed at the auto show

Nissan’s second-generation LEAF has three new cars on exhibit at the current Bhrikutimandap auto show. The second generation Leaf, Navara Pro FourX, and Magnite AMT lifestyle editions have all been made available by Pioneer Motocorp, the official distributor for Nepal. The Leaf EV at Nissan’s booth is drawing interest from spectators in the same way as the electric car is doing. For those looking to purchase a premium EV from the Japanese manufacturer, the Leaf, which has been available in the Nepali market for the past few years, has emerged as a viable option.

In the second-generation Leaf model on display at the show, a 40 kWh lithium-ion battery has been installed. Once completely charged, its battery has been approved by NEDC to provide a 310 km range. This electric vehicle (EV) boasts a 320 Nm of torque and a peak power of 110 kW thanks to its all-electric e-powertrain. It is capable of being driven at a top speed of 140 km/h.

By varying the amount of pressure applied to the accelerator, the LEAF’s E-Pedal makes it simple for the driver to start, accelerate, decelerate, and stop the car with just one pedal. The friction brake and regenerative brake work together to automatically stop the car when the accelerator is fully removed. Driving becomes simpler and more convenient as a result of the reduction in the amount of foot movement between pedals. The city traffic would benefit greatly from this feature.
