Rahul Gandhi sentenced to two years in jail for insulting Modi cast

Kathmandu : Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Indian Congress, was found guilty of slander. Why is Modi known as the name of all thieves, he said. On the basis of this statement, the Surat court declared him guilty on Thursday.

Following 27 minutes of deliberation, the court imposed a fine of 15,000 INR and a two-year prison term on the defendant.

Soon after, Gandhi was also given a 30-day bail by the court. At the hearing, Rahul Gandhi was present in the courtroom.

After receiving his punishment, he recited the following quote from Mahatma Gandhi: “My religion is founded on truth and non-violence.””

Non-violence is my method, and truth is my god “said he.

MLAs and other supporters chanted “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Jai Shri Ram” outside the court.

Rahul was found guilty and given a two-year prison term under Sections 400 and 500 of the IPC. Rahul’s attorney had pleaded for the lightest penalty.
